Hyman hat trick powers Oilers to 5th straight win 🧢

Rodrigues another 4-point night, Kucherov extends point streak, and more.

Good morning.

First, I must apologize for failing to properly embed two of yesterday’s highlight videos… it won’t happen again.

And despite only collecting 20% of yesterday’s poll votes, Tanner Jeannot recorded the most hits (4) last night. Frankly, he was the only option to record any hits last night.

But hey, at least there are 13 NHL games tonight! 🤩

- Brandon Rubeo

Today’s Lineup:

  • Zach Hyman’s hat trick powers Oilers

  • Evan Rodrigues leads Panthers with 4 points

  • Kucherov extends point streak to 11 games in win

  • And a lot more… 👇

🧢 Zach Hyman scores 2nd hat trick of the season, Oilers dominate Hurricanes 6-1. The 31-year-old workhorse scored a beautiful individual effort goal less than six minutes into the 1st, unloaded a lethal one-timer for his second of the night less than ten minutes later, and finished the hat trick midway through the 3rd, redirecting a Connor McDavid feed to the back of the net. McDavid collected three assists, Ryan McLeod, Mattias Ekholm and Warren Foegele scored for the Oilers, and Stuart Skinner made 37 saves as Edmonton extended their win streak to 5 games. Read more →

🐆 Evan Rodrigues scores twice and collects two assists, Panthers beat Stars 5-4. The former Boston University Terrier sniped high blocker on a mini breakaway less than five minutes into the 1st, assisted on Sam Reinhart’s 1st period tally and Aleksander Barkov’s 3rd period tuck, before scoring his 2nd of the night and eventual game-winner midway through the 3rd on the power play, for his second four-point game of the season. Carter Verhaeghe scored for the third straight game and Sergei Bobrovsky made 29 saves as the Panthers move into 2nd place in the Atlantic. Read more →
