Good morning. We hope you had a great weekend, although few of us earned bragging rights Friday evening…
51.4% of Friday’s poll participants predicted the Wild vs. Oilers game would have the largest margin of victory.
On the contrary, their one-goal-game was the tightest matchup Friday night with the Blues and Blue Jackets game earning the win with a 3-goal differential.

✈️ Jets score four in the 3rd, Winnipeg rallies to defeat Anaheim 4-2. Despite losing their leading scorer Kyle Connor to injury in the 2nd period and going down 2-0 early in the the 3rd, the Jets would not be denied their 4th straight win. Nino Niederreiter cut the Ducks lead in half 1:58 into the 3rd, Morgan Barron scored his 5th of the season to tie the score, and Gabriel Vilardi tipped in a Josh Morrissey shot with less than 2 minutes remaining in the 3rd for the game-winner. 🎰 Jonathan Marchessault scores twice, Golden Knights beat the Sharks 5-4 in a shootout. The 32-year-old forward sniped short side on a 2-on-1 rush in the 2nd to tie the game at 1-1 before awkwardly one-timing a Chandler Stephenson pass midway through the 3rd to give Vegas a 4-2 lead. The Sharks’ Addison and Hoffman scored to force a scoreless overtime before Jack Eichel and Marchessault scored in the shootout to seal the Vegas win. Chandler Stephenson and Brayden McNabb added goals as Jiri Patera made 35 saves in his season debut. Read more →

✌️Nic Dowd’s two goals power Capitals over Blackhawks 4-2. The Huntsville, Alabama native buried a rebound from his backside with less than 5 minutes to play in the 2nd, the eventual game-winner, and added his 2nd of the night, 4th goal of his season, late in the 3rd to give Washington a 4-1 lead. Anthony Mantha and Dylan Strome scored five minutes apart midway through the 2nd while Darcy Kuemper made 32 saves in the Capitals second consecutive win on back-to-back nights, after defeating the Rangers 4-0 Saturday.
