🎇 Minnesota sets new franchise record for goals, Wild top Canucks 10-7. Minnesota Wild fans got their money’s worth as THREE players scored hat tricks in yesterday’s matinee. The Canucks’ J.T. Miller completed his hat trick with over 5 mins left in the 2nd to give Vancouver a 5-2 lead. But Joel Eriksson Ek and Kirill Kaprizov would not be outdone, each completing hat tricks in the 3rd period — plus, registering 3 assists to finish the game with 6 points each to tie the franchise record! Matt Boldy and Mats Zuccarello each finished with a goal and 3 assists and Marco Rossi scored in the Wild win. Read more →
🚨 Ben Chiarot scores in overtime, Red Wings top Kraken 4-3. The 32-year-old defenseman caught and quickly released a Dylan Larkin feed to score his 4th goal of the season — and 4th overtime goal of his career — to seal the Wings’ victory just 67 seconds into the extra period. Patrick Kane extended his point streak to five games and recorded his 800th career assist on Moritz Seider’s 1st period tally. Lucas Raymond scored his 16th of the year and earned an assist, Daniel Sprong buried his 15th, and Alex Lyon made 38 saves in the Wings 2nd consecutive win. Read more →

🐻 Charlie McAvoy scores in 9th round of shootout, Bruins rally past Stars 4-3. The former 1st round pick collected two assists in regulation before burying the shootout winner on his backhand to seal the B’s come-from-behind win. Boston’s Justin Brazeau scored his first NHL goal in his first NHL game while Jesper Boqvist also scored. David Pastrnak tied the game on a 6-on-5 advantage, wiring a one-timer from the left circle for his 35th goal of the season with 1:45 remaining in regulation to force extra time. Jeremy Swayman collected 43 saves, plus 8 more in the shootout. Read more →
