Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Reinhart each scored and added a helper, as did Alexander Barkov in his 1st game back from injury. Jesper Boqvist scored and Sergei Bobrovsky made 26 saves as Panthers win 3rd in a row to improve to 7-3-1 to sit atop the Atlantic Division standings. Jason Zucker and Rasmus Dahlin scored for the Sabres.

Cole Sillinger scores and adds two helpers for 3-point night, Blue Jackets overwhelm Oilers 6-1. Sean Monahan scored twice, Adam Fantilli scored and collected an apple, while Mathieu Olivier and Mikael Pyyhtia each scored for Columbus. Kirill Marchenko earned two assists while Elvis Merzlikins made 31 saves for a .969 save percentage as Blue Jackets improve to 4-3-1. Mattias Ekholm scored the Oilers lone goal in the final minute of regulation.

Nick Paul scores in overtime to spoil Stamkos’ return to Tampa, Lightning best Predators 3-2. Brayden Point scored and added an assist, Mitchell Chaffee scored, and Jake Guentzel collected two helpers. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 35 saves for .946 save percentage as Lightning win 2nd straight to improve to 6-3-0. Ryan O’Reilly and Gustav Nyquist scored for the Preds while Steven Stamkos collected two assists in the loss.

John Tavares scores hat trick, including game-winner, Maple Leafs end Jets’ season-opening win streak with 6-4 win. William Nylander scored twice and added an assist, Matthew Knies and Morgan Rielly scored, and Max Pacioretty picked up three assists. Anthony Stolarz made 19 saves as Maple Leafs improve to 5-4-1. Kyle Connor scored twice and Mark Scheifele and Gabriel Vilardi rounded out the Jets’ scoring.

Ryan Donato scores twice including game-winner, adds assist, Blackhawks end Avs’ win streak with 5-2 defeat. Philipp Kurashev, Lukas Reichel, and Ilya Mikheyev scored while Jason Dickinson earned two apples. Petr Mrazek made 24 saves as Blackhawks snap 4-game skid to improve to 3-6-1. Casey Mittelstadt and Nathan MacKinnon scored for the Avs.

Fabian Zetterlund scored twice, Mikael Granlund scored and added two apples, Tyler Toffoli scored and added an apple, and Jake Walman collected three apples. Mackenzie Blackwood made 19 saves as Sharks improve to 1-7-2 while handing Utah their 4th straight loss. Matias Maccelli scored twice and Dylan Guenther and Mikhail Sergachev each scored for Utah.

Sebastian Aho scores 47 seconds into overtime, Hurricanes edge Canucks 4-3. Martin Necas scored and added a helper while William Carrier and Jack Roslovic rounded out the Hurricanes’ scoring. Pyotr Kochetkov made 24 saves as Hurricanes win 4th straight to improve to 6-2-0. Brock Boeser, Quinn Hughes, and Pius Suter scored for the Canucks.

Adin Hill makes 16 saves, Golden Knights shutout Flames 5-0. Keegan Kolesar collected two goals and a helper, Nicolas Roy scored and picked up two helpers, and Mark Stone and Alex Pietrangelo added goals as Golden Knights win 4th straight to sit atop the Pacific Division standings with a 7-2-1 record. The Flames’ 3rd straight loss puts them at 5-3-1.
