Konecny's 'Gordie Howe hat trick' drives Flyers 🥊

Plus, Necas scores natural hat trick, Marchand & Heinen score short-handed, and more.

Good morning. Our loyal reader Jack S. deserves a special shoutout for keeping our team honest:

We completely overlooked that Joe Pavelski played in his 1,300th career game Tuesday. His 1,301 games played to date tie him with Sergei Gonchar for 68th most in NHL history. 🎉

Thanks, Jack!

And thanks to Bill C.’s request to add in tonight’s NHL schedule to the bottom of our newsletter moving forward. Ask and you shall receive. 👊

Today’s lineup:

  • Travis Konecny earns 1st period ‘Gordie Howe hat trick’

  • Martin Necas scores natural hat trick

  • Marchand and Heinen lead B’s with short-handed tucks
