Nic Dowd also scored shorthanded while John Carlson and Jakob Chychrun scored even strength goals and Connor McMichael collected two helpers. Carl Lindgren made 17 saves for a .944 save percentage as Capitals win their 4th straight. Travis Sanheim scored for the Flyers.

Timo Meier scored twice and Jack Hughes, Nathan Bastian, and Stefan Noesen buried for the Devils.
