🧱 Alex Lyon makes 30 saves, Red Wings shutout the Flyers 3-0. Despite being outshot 30 to 17 last night, the undrafted netminder was unbeatable, collecting his 2nd shutout of the season and 3rd of his career. Wings’ Captain Dylan Larkin opened scoring 1:37 into the 2nd period with his 20th of the season, extending his point streak to 10 games. Moritz Seider scored an unusual goal 6 minutes later and Andrew Copp laid into a shorthanded one-timer for this 100th career goal midway through the 2nd. POLL 🗳️
Which game will have the largest margin of victory tonight?Place your prediction 🔮 |
Yesterday’s poll: Who will record the most saves last night (1/25/24)?
John Gibson of the Anaheim Ducks collected 40 saves and 15.6% of of yesterday’s poll votes for the win.
Your two cents:
RJ: Petr Mrazek. “Highly underrated goaltender, he makes high-caliber saves in high-caliber situations. His identity is muddled and masked due to his teams' standings, but don't sleep on this guy, he's made some serious saves.”
You speak the truth RJ, as Mrazek made 31 saves for a .939 save percentage last night against the high-flying Oilers… No wonder the Blackhawks recently extended his contract.
