✌️ Mika Zibanejad scores twice, Rangers end Maple Leafs’ point streak with 5-2 win. The Swedish-native opened scoring with one of the uglier goals of his career (below) just over six minutes into the 1st, extending his point streak to five games, before burying an empty-netter for his 11th goal of the season. Alexis Lafreniere, Braden Schneider, and Artemi Panarin also scored while Erik Gustafsson picked up three assists in the Rangers’ third consecutive win. 🧢 Kirill Marchenko scores natural hat trick, Blue Jackets dominate Sabres 9-4. The budding 23-year-old winger put on a clinic last night, going between the legs for his first goal of the night on the power play in the dying seconds of the 1st before sniping two more, just 18 seconds apart, past the glove of Devon Levi in the 2nd. Johnny Gaudreau, Adam Fantilli, Erik Gudbranson, Sean Kuraly, Cole Sillinger, and Kent Johnson added goals and goaltender Daniil Tarasov made 25 saves as Columbus improves to 11-17-5 on the season. 🚨 Kirill Kaprizov scores twice, including OT winner, Wild defeat Bruins 4-3. The speedy winger buried a rebound midway through the 3rd to the tie the game at 2-2, ending a six-game goal drought, before blasting a one-timer past Linus Ullmark for the 7th overtime goal of his career. Marcus Johansson opened scoring midway through the 1st, Ryan Hartman gave the Wild a brief lead with his 9th goal of the season with just under 5 minutes to play, and Marc Andre-Fleury made 40 saves for his 549th career win as Minnesota improves to 7-3-0 in their last ten games.
