6️⃣8️⃣ The Pittsburgh Penguins will retire Jaromir Jagr's number 68 during a pre-game ceremony on February 18, 2023. Drafted by the Penguins 5th overall in the 1990 draft, Jagr won back-to-back Stanley Cups in ‘91 and ‘92 and went on to play 1,733 career regular-season games, scoring 766 goals, while collecting 1,155 assists and 1,921 points. He ranks 4th all-time in games played and goals, 5th in assists, and only Wayne Gretzky (2,857) has recorded more points. He will be just the 3rd player in Penguins history to have his number retired, joining Mario Lemieux (66) and Michel Briere (21). Read more →

🚨 Panthers’ Sam Reinhart collects 4 points in 4-3 win over Blackhawks. The 28-year-old forward assisted on Ekman-Larsson’s goal just 39 seconds into the game before scoring his team-leading 10th of the season midway through the 1st. Reinhart added his second of the night midway through the 2nd before assisting on Carter Verhaeghe’s 3rd period game-winner. The Panthers won their season-best 4th straight while going 9-2-1 in their last 12 games. Read more →

⭐️ Jason Robertson and Wyatt Johnston each score twice and collect assist, lead Stars to 8-3 win over Wild. The Dallas Stars scored 7 times on special teams, going 5-for-8 on the power play while adding two shorthanded goals. Wyatt Johnston scored his 1st of the game, the eventual game-winner, two minutes into the 2nd on the power play before adding a shorthanded tally in the 3rd. Robertson buried two power play goals in the 3rd while Joe Pavelski, Radek Faksa, Matt Duchene, and Evgenii Dadonov added goals for the Stars in their 3rd straight win. Read more →
