🚨 Patrick “Showtime” Kane scores OT winner in return to Chicago, Red Wings beat Blackhawks 3-2. The Buffalo, New York native extended his point streak to eight games thanks to an assist on Alex DeBrincat’s goal with 4:16 remaining in regulation to force OT, before being sprung on a breakaway by DeBrincat in the extra period where Kane made no mistake, sniping glove side on Petr Mrazek for his 12th goal of the season and 2nd OT winner in his past 3 games. Daniel Sprong opened scoring with his 16th of the season and James Reimer made 33 saves as the Wings won their 5th in a row.

💯 Nikita Kucherov becomes 1st player to hit 100 points this season, Lightning beat the Devils 4-1. The Russian superstar assisted Victor Hedman’s and Brayden Point’s 2nd period goals to record his 99th and 100th points of the season, before tallying an apple on Brandon Hagel’s 3rd period goal, and adding an empty netter to finish the night with 102 points — the NHL’s 2nd leading scorer Nathan MacKinnon has 96. Hagel finished with a goal and 2 assists, Hedman and Point added assists, and Jonas Johansson made 18 saves as the Lightning won their 2nd straight.

🛩️ Kyle Connor scores in overtime, Jets hand Coyotes 12th straight loss with 4-3 OT win. The 27-year-old winger one-timed a Gabriel Vilardi setup with 5:15 to play in the 1st period for his 22nd of the season before one-timing a Josh Morrissey feed to the back of the net just 33 seconds into the extra period for his 2nd OT goal of the year and 9th OT goal of his career to secure the Jets 3rd consecutive win. Mark Scheifele scored his 17th and added 3 assists, Vilardi scored his 16th, and Connor Hellebuyck made 29 saves as the Jets sit one point back from the Dallas Stars for 1st place in the Central Division.
