🚨 Artemi Panarin scores OT winner, Rangers rally to beat Islanders 6-5 in MetLife Stadium. The “Breadman” intercepted a Noah Dobson cross-ice pass and scored on a dislodged net just 10 seconds into overtime for his 32nd goal of the season to complete the come-from-behind victory, extending the Rangers win streak to 7 games. Erik Gustafsson gave the Rangers a 1-0 lead just 88 seconds into the game but the Rangers found themselves down 4-1 early in the 2nd. Vince Trocheck scored twice in the 2nd, and Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad each scored in the final 5 minutes to force OT. Read more →

👑 Adrian Kempe scores twice late, Kings defeat Pens 2-1 on ‘Jagr Day.’ The 27-year-old Swedish forward came off the bench to one-time a Drew Doughty feed for his 18th goal of the season to tie the game at 1-1 with less than 7 minutes remaining in the 3rd period last night. Not done there, Kempe was sprung by Anze Kopitar for a shorthanded 2-on-1 and snapped the game-winner five-hole on Pens’ netminder Tristan Jarry with just 3:10 remaining in regulation; Kempe’s 300th NHL point. 📈 Nathan MacKinnon extends home point streak, Avalanche beat Coyotes 4-3. The former Calder Trophy winner banged home his own rebound midway through the 2nd period to tie the game at 1-1 and extend his season-opening home point streak to 26 games (22 goals, 33 assists), before collecting an assist on Devon Toews game-winning goal midway through the 3rd period. Ross Colton opened scoring, Jack Johnson sniped just over 5 minutes into the 2nd, Bo Byram collected two assists, and Alexandar Georgiev made 30 saves as the Avs handed Arizona their 9th straight loss.
