The 25-year-old Belarusian capitalized on the Coyotes too-many-men penalty in overtime, sniping the top right corner past the Yotes’ Connor Ingram for his 18th goal of the season with just 17 seconds remaining in the extra period to complete the Flames come-from-behind win. 🦅 Darcy Kuemper makes 24 saves, Capitals shutout the Ducks 2-0. The 12-year veteran netminder was unbeatable, turning aside every shot faced including a 12-shot barrage in the 3rd period last night. The shutout is Kuemper’s 1st of the season and 31st of his career. Ethan Bear scored the game-winning goal in the last minute of the 1st period, his first NHL goal in almost exactly a year after rehabbing a shoulder surgery and signing with the Capitals this December.
