The 25-year-old center opened scoring with a glove-side snipe on a breakaway in the 1st, unleashed a wicked one-timer off the David Pastrnak pass to the back of the net just over two minutes later, and deflected in a Pastrnak shot late in the 2nd to complete the hat trick and finish the game with 13 goals on the season, a career high. Jesper Boqvist scored in the 1st and Mason Lohrei buried the game-winner late in the 3rd as the Bruins snap a 3-game skid yet extend their point streak to 7 games (3-0-4). Read more →

⚔️ Rasmus Dahlin scores power play OT winner, Sabres beat Lighting 3-2. The Swedish defenseman buried a sweet give-and-go feed from Casey Mittelstadt for his 15th goal of the season and 2nd overtime winner of his career 1:42 into the extra period. Alex Tuch scored his 17th of the season midway through the 1st, Tage Thompson absolutely sniped his 18th midway through the 3rd to force OT, and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen collected a .913 save percentage off 21 saves as the Sabres record their 4th win in their past 5 games. 3️⃣ Roman Josi scores and adds two assists, Predators defeat Wild 6-1 for 7th straight win. The former 2nd round pick assisted Yakov Trenin’s 1st period tally and Filip Forsberg’s 2nd period goal before sniping his 15th goal of the season just 92 seconds into the 3rd period for his 2nd consecutive 3-point game. Cole Smith, Ryan O’Reilly, and Ryan McDonagh added goals, Gustav Nyquist and Colton Sissons recorded two assists each, and Juuse Saros made 33 saves as the Preds currently sit tied with the Kings with 70 points for the two Western Conference wild cards.
