The 39-year-old netminder made 21 saves last night to record his 552nd NHL win to take sole possession of 2nd place all-time (Martin Brodeur holds the record with 691 wins), and 74th career shutout as the Wild snapped their four-game losing streak. Mats Zuccarello opened scoring on the power play in the 1st, Connor Dewar and Joel Eriksson Ek scored in the 2nd, Eriksson Ek added his 2nd of the night and Marcus Foligno rounded out the Wild’s scoring in the 3rd. 🎩 Mark Stone scores hat trick, Golden Knights drop the Predators 4-1. Despite scoring two hat tricks in Stanley Cup playoffs action, the former 6th round pick of the Senators required 628 regular season games to collect his 1st hatty in regular season play. Stone buried a rebound late in the 1st, finished a Chandler Stephenson just a minute into the 2nd, and sniped left bar and in off the rush with less than 30 seconds remaining in the 2nd to complete the hat trick. Jonathan Marchessault scored an empty-netter in his 600th career game and Logan Thompson made 34 saves in the win. Read more →

🦆 Alex Killorn scores twice including OT winner, Ducks rally past Panthers 5-4. The 34-year-old winger scored a beautiful breakaway goal with just 4 seconds remaining in the 1st period to get the Ducks on the board before beating the Panthers’ Anthony Stolarz to the glove side just 48 seconds into the OT period to secure the Ducks win. The Ducks battled back from 2-0 and 4-2 deficits thanks to 29 saves by John Gibson and goals from Adam Henrique, Jakob Silfverberg, and Troy Terry to snap Anaheim’s two game losing streak.
