🌟 Nathan MacKinnon with another 4-goal, 5-point night, Avalanche overwhelm Capitals 6-2. The 28-year-old superstar put on a show last night, sniping two power play one-timers followed by a filthy backhand finish in the 2nd period to complete the natural hat trick, before assisting Mikko Rantanen’s 3rd period goal and wiring a wicked wrister bar down for his 4th goal and 5th point of the night. But the real story is Ilya Samsonov who, in just 3rd game back with the Leafs since clearing waivers on December 31st, made 32 saves last night (16 in the 1st period alone) to record his 2nd shutout of the season. The Leafs sit 4th in the Atlantic Division. Read more →
