🎵 Jordan Kyrou nets 3rd career hat trick, Blues top Rangers 5-2. The Toronto native caught and released a Rob Thomas pass to the top left corner less than 5 minutes into regulation, deflected in a Pavel Buchnevich feed just over 3 minutes later on the power play, and sniped glove side on a breakaway 7 minutes into the 3rd to conclude his hat trick effort. Brandon Saad scored, Buchnevich added a goal to accompany two assists, Rob Thomas had two apples, and Jordan Binnington made 40 saves for the Blues who have won three of their last four games. 🔥 Elias Pettersson collects 4 points including OT winner, Canucks beat Penguins 4-3 for 4th straight win. The 25-year-old center assisted Brock Boeser’s two 1st period goals before tipping in a Filip Hronek point shot late in the 1st and scoring a sneaky breakaway goal just over 3 minutes into overtime for his 4th consecutive game-winning goal. Pettersson now has seven goals and 12 points in his last four games. J.T. Miller registered three assists and now has 8 points in his last four games. Thatcher Demko made 31 saves for the Canucks. ⭐️ Mathew Barzal scores in overtime, adds three assists, Islanders rally past the Leafs 4-3. The former Calder Trophy winner extended his point streak to five games assisting on all three of the Islanders’ goals in regulation, scored by Kyle Palmieri, Alexander Romanov, and Bo Horvat, before deflecting in Noah Dobson’s backdoor feed just 21 seconds into overtime to snap the Maple Leafs four-game winning streak. Noah Dobson collected a career-high four assists and Ilya Sorokin made 32 saves. The Islanders sit tied with the Flyers for 3rd place in the Metropolitan division. Read more →
