Kyle Connor snipes 51 seconds into overtime, Jets comeback to defeat Wild 2-1. Jake Middleton scored four minutes into regulation to give the Wild a 1-0 lead before Mark Scheifele scored his 4th of the season to tie it at 1-1 with two seconds remaining in the 1st period. Scheifele and Josh Morrissey earned helpers on Connor’s power play goal in OT while Connor Hellebuyck made 26 saves for a .963 save percentage as the Jets improve to 3-0-0 on the season. Read more →

Casey DeSmith makes 25 saves, Stars shutout Kraken 2-0. Sam Steel buried a backdoor Colin Blackwell feed for his 1st of the year and eventual game-winner before Wyatt Johnston sniped blocker side 13 seconds later to make it 2-0 for the Stars who improve to 3-0-0 on the season. Rasmus Andersson scores and collects two assists, Flames drop Oilers 4-1 to remain undefeated. Anthony Mantha backhanded a rebound for his 2nd of the season, Justin Kirkland similarly buried a rebound for his 1st NHL goal, and Connor Zary scored an empty-netter for his 2nd goal of the season while Dan Vladar made 25 saves for his 2nd win of the year. Brett Howden opened scoring with his 2nd of the season and Pavel Dorofeyev added insurance, scoring his 1st of the year with just over 5 minutes to play in regulation to make it 3-1.
