Elvis Merzlikins makes 26 saves, Blue Jackets shut out Islanders 2-0. Damon Severson scored his 2nd of the season early in the 3rd which proved to be the game-winner while Justin Danforth buried an empty-netter for insurance. Merzlikins secures 11th career shutout as Columbus wins their 2nd straight to improve to 5-3-1 on the season, while handing the Islanders their 3rd straight loss.

Kyle Connor scores game-winner, adds two helpers, Jets drop Red Wings 6-2. Neal Pionk scored twice, Gabriel Vilardi picked up a goal and assist, and Nino Niederreiter and Colin Miller added goals for the Jets. Connor Hellebuyck made 19 saves as Jets improve to 9-1-0 on the year. Dylan Larkin and Alex DeBrincat both scored their 5th goals of the season as Red Wings lose their 3rd straight, falling to 4-5-1 this season.

Nikita Kucherov scores and adds two assists, Lightning stun Avalanche 5-2. Jake Guentzel scored twice, Anthony Cirelli scored and added a helper, Connor Geekie scored the game-winner, and Brandon Hagel and Brayden Point each collected two assists. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 33 saves for a .943 save percentage as Lightning win 3rd straight to improve to 7-3-0. Ivan Ivan and Cale Makar scored for the Avs who lose their 2nd straight.
Mikhail Sergachev scores and adds two assists, Utah smother Flames 5-1. Nick Schmaltz and Dylan Guenther each collected two helpers while Alexander Kerfoot, Barrett Hayton, Maveric Lamoureaux, and Clayton Keller scored for Utah. Connor Ingram made 30 saves for a .968 save percentage as Utah improves to 5-4-2. Anthony Mantha scored for the Flames who lose their 4th straight, falling to 5-4-1 on the year.

Adrian Kempe and Kevin Fiala each scored and added a helper, Brandt Clarke collected three assists, and Warren Foegele, Alex Laferriere, and Joel Edmundson each scored for the Kings. Darcy Kuemper made 23 saves as Kings improve to 6-3-2. Pavel Dorofeyev scored twice and Tanner Pearson added a goal for the Golden Knights who sit 1 point ahead of the Kings in the Pacific Division standings.

Jacob Markstrom makes 20 saves, Devils blank Canucks 6-0. Nico Hischier scored and added two assists, Jack Hughes and Dawson Mercer each added a goal and a helper, and Timo Meier, Ondrej Palat, and Tomas Tatar scored for the Devils. Markstrom’s 21st career shutout secures the Devil’s’ 2nd consecutive win to improve to 7-4-2 on the season while handing the Canucks their 2nd straight loss.
