Sam Reinhart and Anton Lundell each score twice, Panthers edge Bruins 4-3. Reinhart scored a power play goal followed by a shorthanded goal while Lundell scored two even-strength goals including the game winner. Sergei Bobrovsky made 24 for his 2nd win of the season. John Beecher scored and added two assists, Brandon Carlo and Mason Lohrei each scored, and Matt Kastelic picked up 3 assists for the Bruins. Read more →

Josh Norris goes five-hole in overtime for his 2nd of the game, Senators beat Kings 8-7. Zack MacEwen scored twice, Drake Batherson, Claude Giroux, Thomas Chabot, and Jake Sanderson added goals for the Sens. Brady Tkachuk and Tim Stutzle collected three apples each. Anton Forsberg and Mads Sogaard combined for 19 saves as Sens improve to 2-1-0 this season. Kevin Fiala and Alex Laferriere each scored twice while Adrian Kempe, Tanner Jeannot, and Trevor Lewis rounded out the Kings’ scoring. Read more →

Rickard Rakell, Kevin Hayes, and Kris Letang scored while Evgeni Malkin buried an empty netter for his 499th career goal and added two assists in the Pens win. Matt Grzelcyk earned two helpers — his 1st points as a member of the Pens — and Tristan Jarry made 24 saves for his 1st win of the season. Mika Zibanejad leads New York with goal and two assists, Rangers overwhelm Red Wings 4-1. Alexis Lafreniere one-timed his 2nd of the season, Chris Kreider tipped-in his 3rd which proved to be the game-winner, Reilly Smith sniped his 1st off the draw, and Zibanejad buried in empty netter for the Blueshirts. Artemi Panarin earned three helpers and Igor Shesterkin made 31 saves as the Rangers improve to 2-0-1. Dylan Larkin scored for Detroit. Read more →

Jake Allen makes 20 saves, Devils shutout Utah 3-0. Rookie defenseman Seamus Casey sniped his 3rd of the season before Stefan Noesen scored his 2nd midway through the 2nd and Nico Hischier added his 2nd of the year on the power play midway through the 3rd. Hischier, Casey, Jack Hughes, and Jesper Bratt collected an assist each while the Devils improve to 4-1-0, handing Utah their 1st loss of the season. Read more →

Anders Lee, Kyle Palmieri, Anthony Duclair, and Mathew Barzal added goals for the Islanders as Ilya Sorokin made 32 saves for a .941 save percentage as New York improves to 1-1-1 on the season.
