Canadiens beat Blue Jackets thanks to late Armia tip
Plus, Jimmy Vesey bats in game winner, Caps end Kings' streak, and a lot more.
Good morning. Whether it was signing Patrick Kane this week or the fact the Red Wings are in a three-way tie with the Leafs and Lightning for 3rd place in the Atlantic without him to date, 75% of yesterday’s poll participants believe Detroit will make the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
After qualifying for the playoffs 25 consecutive seasons from 1991 to 2016, it’s really hard to believe they haven’t earned the right to battle for Lord Stanley since.
Btw, great night to watch NHL hockey with 14 games on the schedule.
