😈 Jesper Bratt scores twice in ‘Hughes Bowl,’ Devils down Canucks 6-5. The 25-year-old forward opened scoring just 3:40 into the 1st, sniping a 2-on-1, before banging home a rebound with just 34 seconds remaining in regulation to seal the Devils’ win. It was just the ninth time in NHL history three brothers played in the same game, and the Hughes brothers didn’t disappoint as Jack collected a goal and two assists, Luke scored a goal, and Quinn notched two helpers. 👑 Drew Doughty unloads wicked one-timer in OT, Kings rally past Blue Jackets 4-3. The former Norris Trophy winner wasted no time, one-timing an Anze Kopitar feed just 33 seconds into overtime past the glove of Columbus’ Elvis Merzlikins for the win. Down 3-0 to start the 3rd period, the Kings’ Phillip Danault scored 23 seconds into the 3rd and added his second of the game, 6th of the season, just over four minutes later. Arthur Kaliyev scored his 6th on the year to force OT and Phoenix Copley made 26 saves as the Kings tie the NHL record with 10-0-0 road start. Read more →

🎩 Tomas Hertl scores hat trick, Sharks rally to beat the Islanders 5-4 in overtime. The Czech-native buried an Anthony Duclair feed midway through the 1st to tie the game at 1-1, before scoring twice in the last four minutes of regulation to overcome a late 3-goal deficit and force overtime. In OT, Sharks’ 21-year-old defenseman William Eklund accepted a Mikael Granlund drop pass before snapping the puck past the Islanders’ Ilya Sorokin with less than 5 seconds remaining on the clock to seal the Sharks come-from-behind victory.
