The 24-year-old forward setup Nikolaj Ehlers’ 2nd period tally, redirected a Cole Perfetti pass to the back of the net less than 10 minutes later to extend his goal-scoring streak to four games, and assisted on Mark Scheifele’s 3rd period tuck for his 10th point in the last four games. Neal Pionk and Axel Jonsson-Fjallby added goals and Laurent Brossoit recorded a .929 save percentage in the Jets win. The 27-year-old netminder collected 20 saves in the 1st period alone en route to tying his own franchise record of 42 saves last night as the win ties the Kraken with the Flames for 4th place in the Pacific Division with 31 points. After being outshot 20-8 in the 1st, Brandon Tanev buried a rebound off the faceoff just 5:19 into the 2nd period to open scoring. Jordan Eberle, setup up by Matty Beniers stretch pass, scored a beautiful breakaway goal, sniping Kings’ Cam Talbot glove side in the 3rd period for the game-winner. Read more →
