The former 1st round pick of the Flames redirected a Brandon Montour point shot past Vegas’ Logan Thompson on the power play just over 6 minutes into the 2nd period for the game-winner before adding a primary assist on Sam Reinhart’s team-leading 25th goal of the season in the 3rd. The New Jersey native scored a beautiful shootout goal against the Flyers’ Samuel Errson as the Blue Jackets fought back from a 2-0 deficit, thanks to two goals from Philly’s Travis Konecny, to earn the win. Defenseman Damon Severson got the Blue Jackets on the board with a rocket slapshot one-timer just over five minutes into the 3rd before Jake Bean inadvertently deflected a Jake Roslovic shot past Errson five minutes later to tie the game at 2-2.
