🎩 Sidney Crosby tallies 16th career hat trick & adds assist, Pens beat the Blue Jackets 5-3. The bonafide superstar extended his point streak to nine games, scoring four minutes into the 1st followed by an incredible tip-in and eventual game-winner with a little over five minutes left in the 3rd, before sealing his hat trick effort with an empty-netter. Crosby collected an assist on Jake Guentzel’s 2nd period tally while Erik Karlsson rounded out the Pens scoring. Tristan Jarry made 30 saves as the Penguins recorded their fifth straight win. ⭐️ Matt Duchene scores in overtime, Stars complete 4-3 rally over the Coyotes. The 32-year-old forward buried a Tyler Seguin feed just 42 seconds into overtime to extend his goal streak and the Stars win streak to four games. Esa Lindell tied the game in the 1st and Roope Hintz gave the Stars a 2-1 lead midway through the 2nd before the Coyotes scored twice in the 3rd to take a 3-2 lead with a little over five minutes remaining in regulation. The 30-year-old netminder recorded his 1st shutout of the season, 13th of his career, to secure the Blues third win in a row while handing the Lightning their 3rd straight loss. The Blues’ speedy center Jordan Kyrou buried a beautiful 2nd period breakaway to give St. Louis a 2-0 lead before snapping home a Brayden Schenn feed with less than a minute remaining in regulation for his 2nd of the game.
