🤩 Connor McDavid collects 6 assists, Oilers crush Red Wings 8-4. The 27-year-old superstar seems to have his mind set on another Art Ross Trophy as he registered an assist on goals by Cody Ceci, Evan Bouchard, Dylan Holloway, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins twice, and Evander Kane for the 2nd 6-point game of his career last night, finishing the evening 13 points back from league-leader Nikita Kucherov. Nugent-Hopkins finished with two goals and an assist, Bouchard had a goal and two assists, and Stuart Skinner made 34 saves for the Oilers, who have won 18 of their past 20 games. Read more →

🏈 Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen makes 33 saves, Sabres score touchdown and shutout Kings 7-0. Despite being outshot 33-24, the 24-year-old Sabres’ netminder was flawless last night to post the 4th shutout of this season and his NHL career. The Sabres established a 3-goal lead in the 1st period thanks to goals from JJ Peterka, Jordan Greenway, and Kyle Okposo. Rasmus Dahlin and Zach Benson kept the Sabres goals flowing in the 2nd while Alex Tuch and Greenway added 3rd period insurance goals. 🎩 Brady Tkachuk scores 2nd career hat trick, Senators rout Blue Jackets 6-3. The former 4th overall pick finished a Josh Norris backdoor power play feed midway through the 1st, buried his own rebound from a 2-on-1 rush less than 60 seconds later, and scored from just outside the crease for his 2nd power play goal of the night to complete the hat trick late in the 2nd period last night. His 25 goals leads the Senators. Claude Giroux finished the night with a goal and 2 assists, Ridly Greig and Erik Brannstrom scored, and Anton Forsberg made 37 saves in the Sens’ 4th straight win.
