Stephenson's snipe snaps Oilers' win streak 🎬

Plus, Lindholm scores twice in Canucks debut, Jarry shuts out Jets, and more.

Good morning. With 8 games last night the NHL felt like it was truly back for the final regular season stretch.

As far as I’m concerned, we’re entering the 2nd best time of the year with the trade deadline looming (March 8, 2024) and teams making their final playoff push.

Of course, the best time of the year is during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, duh!

Today’s lineup:

  • Chandler Stephenson’s game-winner snaps Oilers’ streak

  • Elias Lindholm scores twice in Canucks debut

  • Tristan Jarry shuts out the Jets

  • Andrei Kuzmenko scores in Flames debut

  • Learn to create shooting lanes

  • And a lot more… 👇

CAN’T MISS 🎯

🎬 Chandler Stephenson snipes game-winner, Golden Knights end Oilers win streak with 3-1 defeat. The Saskatoon native buried his 9th goal of the season just over a minute into the 3rd period, unleashing a lethal one-timer to the top left corner off a Jonathan Marchessault feed to give the Golden Knights a 2-1 lead. Nicolas Roy scored his 10th of the year late in the 1st to tie the game at 1-1 and William Karlsson added an empty-netter. Adin Hill made 30 saves for a .968 save percentage as the Golden Knights snapped the Oilers 16-game win streak, 1 shy of tying the all-time record. Read more →

✌️ Elias Lindholm scores twice in Canucks debut, Vancouver drops Carolina 3-2. The 29-year-old forward wasted no time making an impact on his new team, redirecting a Quinn Hughes power play point shot for his 10th goal of the year late in the 1st before doing the exact same thing 19 minutes later for his 2nd power play tally of the night. J.T. Miller backhanded the game-winner four minutes into the 3rd, Hughes and Brock Boeser collected two apples each, and Thatcher Demko made 22 saves to extend the Canucks point streak to 12 games. 🧱 Tristan Jarry makes 23 saves, Penguins spoil Monahan’s Jets debut with 3-0 win. The former 2nd-round pick was once again unbeatable last night, collecting 23 saves for his league-leading 6th shutout of the season, and 19th of his career. Kris Letang opened scoring with a nifty backhand seven minutes into regulation that proved to be the game-winner. Jeff Carter buried a rebound 7:33 into the 2nd and Bryan Rust finished a Jake Guentzel feed 90 seconds later to score twice on Brenden Dillon’s match penalty that delivered a 5-minute power play.
