After going 3-0 to start the week in poll predictions, the Hockey Recap team was off our game Friday, as only 48% of Friday’s poll voters correctly predicted the Sharks vs. Devils game (6-3) would outscore the Senators vs. Blue Jackets game (2-4).

Fortunately, today is the start of a new week and opportunity to get back to our winning ways.

Down 1-0 to start the third, the Bruins captain got to work, 1st one-timing a Danton Heinen feed to the back of the net just 1:56 into the period, before sniping two consecutive power play wristers past the glove of Blue Jackets’ Spencer Martin just two minutes and nine seconds apart to complete his 6th hat trick and 1st natural hat trick of his NHL career. 👑 Anze Kopitar sets Kings assist record, Kings defeat the Avalanche 4-1. The Kings’ captain is off to a milestone season, setting the franchise record for games played in October, scoring his 400th career goal on November 8th, passing Luc Robitaille for 2nd all-time in points on November 9th, and recording his 758th career assist to set a new Kings’ record last night on Quinton Byfield’s second goal of the game, a 3rd period game-winner. Trevor Moore and Drew Doughty added goals and Cam Talbot recorded a .952 save percentage in the Kings’ win. Read more →
