Adrian Kempe scored and added an assist while Mikey Anderson, Alex Laferriere, and Andreas Englund added goals and Vladislav Gavrikov collected two helpers as Kings improve to 2-0-2. Justin Barron scored the lone Canadiens goal.

Jacob Markstrom makes 30 saves for a .968 save percentage, Devils best Senators 3-1. Erik Haula and Nathan Bastian scored their 1st goals of the season while Paul Cotter buried his 5th on the year as Devils improve to 5-2-0 to sit atop the Metropolitan Division. Brady Tkachuk of the Sens scored late to spoil Markstrom’s shutout effort.

Nikita Kucherov scores twice including final-minute game-winner, Lightning rally past Golden Knights 4-3. Janis Moser scored his 1st of the year and added two apples while Brandon Hagel’s 2nd of the season tied the game at 3-3 with just over 2 minutes to play. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 22 saves in the Lightning’s 3rd straight win to start the season. Brayden McNabb, Pavel Dorofeyev, and Ivan Barbashev scored for Vegas.
J.T. Miller snipes OT winner, Canucks edge Panthers 3-2 for 1st win of the season. Teddy Blueger and Quinn Hughes scored while Kevin Lankinen made 26 saves for his 1st win as a member of the Canucks. Jesper Boqvist and Anton Lundell scored for Florida.

Vince Trocheck scored and collected three apples, Adam Fox collected three apples as well, and Victor Mancini scored his 1st goal in the NHL to round out the Blueshirts scoring. Jonathan Quick made 29 saves for a .935 save percentage as Rangers improve to 3-0-1. Moritz Seider and J.T. Compher scored for the Red Wings.
