Brady Tkachuk of the Sens scored late to spoil Markstrom’s shutout effort.

Nikita Kucherov scores twice including final-minute game-winner, Lightning rally past Golden Knights 4-3. Janis Moser scored his 1st of the year and added two apples while Brandon Hagel’s 2nd of the season tied the game at 3-3 with just over 2 minutes to play. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 22 saves in the Lightning’s 3rd straight win to start the season. Brayden McNabb, Pavel Dorofeyev, and Ivan Barbashev scored for Vegas.

J.T. Miller snipes OT winner, Canucks edge Panthers 3-2 for 1st win of the season. Teddy Blueger and Quinn Hughes scored while Kevin Lankinen made 26 saves for his 1st win as a member of the Canucks. Jesper Boqvist and Anton Lundell scored for Florida.

Taylor Raddysh scores game-winner, Capitals hand Stars 1st loss of season with 3-2 win. Tom Wilson and Dylan Strome added goals for the Caps and Carl Lindgren made 22 saves for his 1st win of the season as Washington improves to 2-1-0. Colin Blackwell and Jason Robertson scored for the Stars.

Kirill Marchenko scores and adds assist, Blue Jackets defeat Sabres 6-4. Mathieu Olivier had a goal and assist, and Yegor Chinakhov, Adam Fantilli, Zach Aston-Reese, and Damon Severson added goals for Columbus, while Zach Werenski and Jake Christiansen each recorded two helpers and Daniil Tarasov made 20 saves as Blue Jackets improve to 2-2-0. Ryan McLeod, Jiri Kulich, Owen Power, and JJ Peterka scored for the Sabres.

Joel Hofer makes 34 saves, Blues shutout the Islanders 1-0 through overtime. Jake Neighbours scored the lone goal of the game, redirecting a Philip Broberg feed to the back of the net just over 2 minutes to play into the extra period for his 1st goal of the season as Blues improve to 3-2-0.

Brett Kulak scores twice, Oilers rout Predators 4-2. Jeff Skinner scored his 2nd as an Oiler while Connor McDavid buried his 1st goal of the season and Calvin Pickard made 25 saves as Edmonton improves to 2-3-0. Filip Forsberg and Jonathan Marchessault scored for the Predators.

Nick Foligno tips home game-winner, Blackhawks beat Sharks 4-2. Taylor Hall, Tyler Bertuzzi, and Jason Dickinson scored their 1st of the season while Connor Bedard and Teuvo Teravainen earned two assists each and Petr Mrazek collected 20 saves as Chicago improves to 2-2-1. Tyler Toffoli and Fabian Zetterlund scored for the Sharks.

Jared McCann collects three points with goal and two helpers, Kraken bury Flyers 6-4. Jordan Eberle and Shane Wright each scored and added an assist, while Brandon Montour, Eeli Tolvanen, and Oliver Bjorkstrand added goals, and Phillipp Grubauer made 21 saves as Seattle improves to 3-2-0. Scott Laughton scored twice while Camp York and Jamie Drysdale rounded out the Flyers scoring.
