The Ann Arbor, Michigan native buried a Michael Rasmussen feed in front of the Leafs’ net for his 8th of the season, and what proved to be the game-winner, with just 1:40 remaining in regulation. Lucas Raymond added an empty-net assurance goal just over a minute later. Dylan Larkin had a goal and an assist, Daniel Sprong added the other goal for Detroit, and James Reimer made 28 saves as the Wings won for the fifth time in their last six games, including a 5-3 win over the Kings the night before. ⏰ Artemi Panarin scores 50 seconds in, Rangers defeat Capitals 2-1 to end four game losing streak. The 32-year-old sniper one-timed a Vince Trocheck feed to the back of the net less than a minute into play for his 27th goal of the season, Alexis Lafreniere scored his 11th of year with just 50 seconds remaining in the 1st for the eventual game-winner, and Igor Shesterkin made 24 saves for a .960 save percentage in the Rangers win. Despite going 4-5-1 in their last 10 games, the Rangers remain atop the Metropolitan division with a 3-point lead over 2nd place Carolina. Read more →

⛑️ Patrick Kane exits game vs. Leads with lower-body injury. The 35-year-old winger left Sunday’s game early in the 1st period after a shift where he was on the receiving end of two hits by Maple Leafs’ forward Pontus Holmberg. Kane underwent surgery on his hip during the off-season, but Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported during the second intermission that it doesn't sound like a hip injury this time. Kane entered last night’s game with seven goals and nine assists in 18 games for the Red Wings this season. No further update has been released at this time. Read More →
